Breakfast is a treat at The Sea Spray Inn. Many guests skip lunch after savoring the generous breakfast!
Seasonal fresh fruit is served daily – sometimes with a little mint from the garden mixed in. Mary Ellen’s homemade crumb cake is also available daily. During the summer months, blueberry and peach versions often grace the table, too. In addition, there is always a different muffin, bread or scone served with breakfast. Some of the inn favorites include blueberry lemon muffins, coconut banana bread with a lime glaze, scones in many different flavors, and an assortment of biscotti.
The daily hot dish alternates between egg-based creations and carb-based delights. Omelets, individual soufflés, egg bakes and highly seasoned scrambled eggs with garden herbs are guest favorites. Our other hot dishes include a fantastic orange-scented French toast, light-as-air buttermilk pancakes (with or without blueberries), and waffles made special for the season.
Yogurt and homemade granola are always available for guests who want something lighter or an alternative to the daily dish. In addition, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available with advance notice.
